Every company has an origin story. Ours has a wagging tail. Caesar — the dog who turned our founder into a pet parent — is the reason Koko exists. Loving him meant discovering everything that comes with it: the joy, the first health scare, the search for a vet you could trust with a family member. And it made one thing impossible to ignore — the people who care for our pets deserve far better tools than the ones they'd been given. He's even in our registered name: Caesars Planet. This company is, quite literally, built in his honour.
Koko didn't start in a boardroom. It started as a weekend project — a small tool to make one clinic's day easier, in a country where vets delivering excellent medicine were still running their practices on paper registers, Excel sheets, and WhatsApp groups. Because the veterinary software available to them was built for other countries, other industries, or another decade.
Then something happened that no marketing budget can buy: vets started recommending Koko to other vets. A doctor would tell a batchmate, a clinic would tell the practice across town, and the weekend project grew clinic by clinic on word of mouth alone — because when software genuinely gives a vet their evenings back, they tell their friends.
Along the way, it grew into a complete veterinary practice management software: appointments, medical records, prescriptions, GST billing, inventory, WhatsApp reminders, lab reports, and a pet parent app — with Koko AI woven throughout, and Koko Labs now extending it into diagnostics.
Underneath it all is a simple belief: vets empowered with the best tools deliver exceptional care. When running a practice gets easier, more young vets find the confidence to start their own clinics — and quality pet care reaches more streets, more towns, more first-time pet parents. Lakhs of pet visits later, that's still the mission: spread the joy of pet parenting that Caesar gave us, to every home in India.
